This portal belongs to a series of works inspired by overcoming the illusion of duality. The circle that outlines the experience of the portal is red, symbolizing the sacred and the expression of rituality. The same red marks an undefined multiple line that divides most of the work into two parts. This line consists of multiple layers at the center and becomes thinner at the extremities, without ever fully occupying the entire perimeter of the experience. This multiple line represents our perception of duality: the rational mind’s need to divide the field into two. Why is it the same red that defines the experience? Because what allows usto understand that duality is an illusion is the most sacred rite we can perform. The portal is immersive, characterized by a shade of blue that represents the cosmos but is at the same time welcoming and muffled, inviting the viewer to step inside the portal—into the Universe that embraces them. Just beneath the surface of the portal, golden energy movements can be seen, inviting the viewer to go beyond—not only beyond the duality of the red line but also beyond the blue background— to reach the true essence of life: that primordial energy that moves incessantly to sustain life. This movement of energy is diffused and continuous, transporting the viewer into an alchemical dimension of self-transformation in the awareness of unity with the Universe. This unity transcends our rationality and is not constrained by the red line of duality. The energy simply ignores our projection of duality—which, in reality, does not exist—and transcends even the blue background, reaching deep into our subconscious. In the end, those who manage to go beyond the barrier of rationality will have performed a true rite—one where they have realized they are one within the One, light within light, without judgment or division.
